Melissa's Journey

Caught in a cycle of failed attempts at life, my mother referred me to Heartisans. Being afraid of the unknown, I was hesitant in believing how much help I would truly receive. However, while I attended the program, God opened my heart to build relationships with some great people.

From day one Amy helped me create a personalized plan and one by one I began to see that I could accomplish goals and complete tasks. I am so appreciative for the mentors who helped me along the way, with all their prayers, love, and support. Thank you! The journey wasn’t easy, but I was ready for a change, and with change comes hard work and determination. With hard work and determination comes support and LOVE. Love Serves!

I am grateful to all the volunteers who took time out of their days to support and love us through the program. Heartisans is a positive and empowering environment, that makes you feel like you are being hugged as soon as you walk in the door. I look forward to the opportunities that are in store for me with the things I have learned from Heartisans, and I am truly happy that I finished the program successfully! Thank you Heartisans!!
